The Lawrence County Coalition partnered with public schools to promote drug free lifestyles through participation in Red Ribbon Week. The National Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week each year.
For Spearfish Middle School, each day of Red Ribbon Week was themed with a new emphasis on being drug free. Students were encouraged to dress up and participate in awareness activities.
